Karkala; Oct 27: After inaugurating the ‘Ayush camp’, organized by taluk government hospital Sunil Kumar, legislator said in his address that now the ‘Ayush’ system’ has been approved by the government to practice in government hospital.
He further said that ‘Ayush’ is an oldest practice of treating patients, has been approved by the government to clinically practice in government hospital.
The ‘Ayush’ the oldest adopted practice is nothing but a blend of yoga and naturopathy, Ayurveda, yuneni, siddha, homeopathy treatment including Panchkarma
He further said that it is regrettable to note that the treatment, which has been practicing from Ramayana stage and is now being going under the grip, control of western countries and moving out of our hands, he added.
For the treatment of ‘Ayush’ a separate 10 bed facility department will be opened with 10 staff working on it and hope that effective from next year it will start functioning, he said.
Rehamat, president, municipal council has presided over the function.
Rashmi Shetty, taluk panchayat president, Ayush, district-in-charge, Dr.Halaknanda were present.
