Mangalore, Oct. 26: Soujanya’s parents claimed that Dharmasthala Dharamadhikari Veerendra Hegde and his family members directly involved in the Sowjany’s murder and death case. Many murders are took place around Dharmasthala, but till now no proper investigation has done said the president of Dakshina Kannada district Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike K.L Ashok.
He spoke in the press meet held at Hotel Woodlands on Thursday Oct. 26.
He further said that it is sad to say that the murder, rape cases took place in such a sacred place like Dharmasthala. All the cases of murder and rape held between 1998 to till now should handover to CBI he urged.
And also it is said that Dharmasthala is claimed for land mafia. Nearly 431 Acre land was illegally occupied by the temple. So there should be a clear and transparent investigation on this he said. The MLA’s and ministers are now working only for vote bank. They should also take part in the protest and support for the CBI investigation he added.
