Kundapur: Indian government selects Uppinakudru Bhaskar Kogga Kamath as ICCR member

Kundapur; Oct 24: Indian government has appointed for the second time, a renowned Yakshagana toys play artist Uppinakudru Bhaskar Kogga Kamath as the member of Indian council for cultural relations (ICCR) for three years.

Internationally recognized, director of Shree Ganesh Yakshagana toys play Mandali, who gave new touch to toys play art, has become well known, popular and famous figure amongst people who lives in abroad, is trying his best to open Gombeyata Academy for the first time across globe in a tiny village Uppinakudru.

By engaging himself in different organizations continuously for several years in different capacities like as writer, as an artist, Kamath has received many awards, felicitations.

A young and charismatic Kamath has been appointed as member of ICCR for three years for the second time and it is a proud moment for all the Kundapur people.
