Udupi; Oct 21: Inaugurating the “Pension approval Adalat”organized by Kundapur assistant commissioner of Kundapur revenue department at Hiriadka Devadigara Bhavan on Oct 21, Monday, Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge said in his address that there are 9 Adalats for distributing various facilities. In this, 640 people’s Sandhya Suraksha projects have been approved.
Continuing his speech, he said that Rs 3 crore has been approved for farmers towards solving the problems of areca nut’s rotten disease.
Besides, he also disclosed that the government is planning to give Rs 12 thousand per hectare and even union government is also thinking of giving grant-in-aid of Rs 12 thousand, he said.
Tahsildar Guruprasad,Suresh Nayak,Satyananda Nayak,Shivarama Shetty,Gururaj Bhandary,Jayavanth, Yogishwar Rama Kulal and among others were present.
