Udupi: Court extends judicial custody in nursery child molestation case until Oct 31

Udupi; Oct 19: The judicial custody of prime accused in nursery child molestation case has been extended until Oct 31.

At first, when they were produced in court, the Udupi district and session court has extended the judicial custody of the accused Shubhakar, a resident of Hebri and Sudhir, a resident of Manipal Adarsha Nagara on Sept 23, until October 5th.

Now, when they were produced to court on Oct 05, the court has extended the judicial custody of both until Oct 31.

Details of the incident: It was reported in the complaint lodged in police station that nursery child of 3 year,10 month old, who was the student of Manipal Madhava Kripa English medium school, was sexually exploited by the bus conductors of the school.

It was said that by taking the advantage of innocent girl, who was going to school by school bus, the conductor Shubhakar along with Sudhir, another conductor of the another bus in the school took the girl to a secluded place in another bus, leaving the regular bus in the premise of school and committed a sexual crime on nursery child.

The allegations have been hearing that this incident took place on 16.09.2013 afternoon between 12.55 pm to 01.25 pm and left the girl at her residence with the help of one rickshaw driver after completing their cruel acts.
