Udupi; Oct 19: After inaugurating the Mahatma Gandhi national village employment guarantee project, Nirmala Bharat Abhiyana and Sanjeevini project’s awareness workshop programme organized by district panchayat at Rajathadri auditorium, Vinaya Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development and district in charge said in his address that in order to solve the problems of form No.9 and 11, the same has been divided into 9 and 11 A&B.
He further said that this arrangement has been kept reserved for Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district only. Henceforth, taluk panchayat has to come out with new plans in this connection. The decision has to be taken for the future lay-outs as well.
He further added that we are lagging behind in house and accommodation programme and this has to be launched, otherwise it will come at the time of constructing house in the government lands.
He further said that 48% BPL is succeeded and now 70 % issuance of BPL card has to be succeeded. With the co-operation of the people, the road development is possible. Then only we can maintain our transparency, he added
He also said that for the complete implementation of the programmes, panchayat, legislators, authorities concerned also should work round the work .Through employment guarantee scheme, Panchayat will get strength.
