Mangalore, Oct 16: The 91st Sarvajanika Sri Sharada Mahotsava of Sri Venkatramana Temple, Carstreet concluded with the colourful Shobhayatra of idol of Sharada on October 15.
After the pooja to goddess Sharada, the idol was taken for the procession. The procession also included several tableaux and Huli Vesha.
The procession passed through Sri Mahamaya Temple, Navabharath Circle, Gaddekeri, Dongerkeri, Ammembal Subba Rao Pai Road, New Chitra Talkies, Basavana Gudi, Chamaragalli, Carstreet and concluded at the Mahamaya Lake area with the immersion of the idol in the lake.
Ragataranga orchestra by Ravindra Prabhu and group was also organised as part of the Sharada Mahotsav.
Thousands of people had gathered to witness the procession.
Sharadotsava Samithi President Dr Umananda Mallya, Secretary Adige Balakrishna Shenoy and others were present.
