Kundapur; Oct 09: After inaugurating the NSS annual special camp organized by Gangolli Saraswati institute of pre-degree college’s (GSVPDC) NSS unit at Kollur Shree Mookambika temple’s high school premises, Shree Kollur Mookambika temple’s Dharmadarshi Krishnaprasad Adyanthaya said in his address that national social service (NSS) project will not only help to develop the personality of the students but also it enable to develop the leadership quality.
He further said that NSS, besides creating awareness about health, law, moral sense and eradication of corruption, it will also help in overall progress of the students. Therefore it is advisable to participate in revolution like this and engage in building the prosperous India, he said.
Smt.Saraswati.K.Rao, principal of Saraswati Vidyalaya pre -Degree College has presided over the function.
S.L.Maruti, an administrator of the temple, Nagaraja Bhat, head master were present.
Prof.Thomas.P.A. welcomed the gathering, Bhaskar Shetty, NSS convener had an introductory speech, Prof.Sujayeendra Hande compered the programme and prof.Suguna.K.R proposed a vote of thanks.
