Udupi; Oct 07: Addressing the press reporters in the press meet held at city’s hotel, Udaya Kumar Shetty said in his address that the swearing in ceremony of newly appointed BJP district president Thingale Vikramarjuna Hegde and committee members will be on Oct 09, Wednesday at Kidiyur Hotel’s Sheshashayana Sabha Bhavan at 03.00 pm in the afternoon.
He also said that Prahlad Joshi, BJP state president. Former chief minister Sadananda Gowda, State chief secretary C.T.Ravi, Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP and among others are participating in the function.
Besides, a bike rally (two wheeler) and foot journey (Paadayathre) will be held from Jodukatte at 02.00 pm in the afternoon and at 03.00 pm in the afternoon district workers conference will be organized.
After proposing the name of Narendra Modi as the candidate for prime minister, a new enthusiasm has been generated in party workers. After solving the problems of Kundapur municipal council, BJP has the confidence of moving ahead by bringing all the workers together, he added.
