PFI Distributes Loan Scholarship to the Students

Mangalore, Oct 4: “Today’s youth thinks only about working abroad and earning more money, but they are not at all bothered about serving the society.  Harekala Hajabba is a role model for all youth,” said K S Muhammad Masood, president Muslim Central Committee.

He was speaking after distribution loan scholarships- 2013 for students organised by Popular Front of India (PFI) at St Aloysius College Auditorium on Friday.

He said that Harekala Hajabba, an illiterate orange vendor has understood the value of education and he has decided to run a school in his village.

Mr Masood said that “women empowerment is needed in strengthening the society”.

Mohammed Kakkinje said that PFI is distributing scholarships as loan without interest. It has to be repaid after receiving job. The amount repaid will be utilised to provide education loan to other needy students.

Walter Maben, chairman of Karnataka Mission Network, Harekala Hajabba and Vasudeva Bolur of Ahinda movement were present in the occasion.
