Mangalore, Oct 4: Prerana, a trust founded by the Infosys Employees Welfare Association organized a student’s scholarship award function ‘Pratibha Poshak – 2013’ at Infosys Development Centre Mangalore.
The chief guest of the programme V K Talittaya, Chairman Primacy Industries, Mangalore awarded scholarships to 504 students of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts to the tune of Rs. 19.92 lakhs an initiative to support academically outstanding students who are economically weak to support their future professional education.
The event was also jointly sponsored by Dhrithi Foundation, Yakshagana Kalaranga, Udupi and Supraja Foundation.
Bhaskar Chiknanjundappa, Director I-Point Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Gangadhar Rao, Vice President, Yakshagana Kalaranga, Udupi and Raviraj Belma, Trustee, Prerana Trust, Infosys Mangalore were also present.
