Udupi;Oct 04: Addressing the media personnel, Raghupati Bhat,f ormer MLA said in his address that out of many projects, which approved by the government under C.M.S.M.T.D.P-11nd phase of districts local town development, concretization of Thottam-Malpe Balarama circle road was also the one, which approved by the government.
But he expressed his displeasure over the fact that in spite of his efforts for Thottam-Malpe Balarama circle road, during his tenure as MLA of the constituency, legislators didn’t even bother to extend courtesy invitation for the foundation stone laying ceremony of Thottam-Malpe Balarama circle road concretization.
He further said that 17 districts only got this grant-in-aids for this works.Out of those districts, our district also one. He said that ‘even I did try for the speedy release of fund and Rs 30 crore grants were approved, when I was the legislator’, he said.
Continuing his speech, he said that ‘Aadi Udupi-Kadiyali drainage and footpath works also to be started and Rs 6 crore projects, those were approved during our tenure has to be started. Still the appointment of PMC has not been done. Payment of contractors is not being done. Bridge work of Padukere, has to be completed before coming February, he demands
