Karkala; Oct 03: A general body meeting of Belanje milk producer’s Sangha was held at Sangha’s office and President Karunakara Shetty has presided over the function.
The profit for the year 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 has been distributed as per sub-rule of the Sangha amongst the members. 65% bonus and 10% dividend has been declared to the members of the Sangha.
Smt.Jayanti, secretary has approved the annual report for the year 2012-2013.
President also announced that those who wish to purchase animals from other districts (cow/buffaloes) will be given Rs 1000/-as motivation money.
Chief guest Shankar Naik, Development official, Dakshina Kannada milk Vokkoota, spoke about quality of milk, Green food and Sangha’s various projects.
The members, who have supplied more milk to the sangha during the year like Nagayya Shetty, Rudramma Shetty and M.C.Krishnamurthy have been honored with gifts on the occasion.Besides, the scholarship for the talented children of Sangha’s members has been distributed, for those who have scored more marks in 7th and 10th standard.
Krishnamurthy M.C welcomed the members, Nagappa Nayak proposed a vote of thanks.
