Karkala; Sept 29: Smt.Shyamala Kundar, Secretary, state BJP unit has announced the name of Maniraja Shetty-the new re-elected BJP president in a ceremony held at Karkala Manjunatha Pai cultural Sabha Bhavan.
V.Sunil Kumar, MLA and vice president of State BJP unit has congratulated newly appointed BJP president Maniraja Shetty by presenting a flower garland.
While speaking on the occasion, Maniraja Shetty said that earlier to this, BJP has given him the responsibility of party’s chief secretary and two times as president and tried sincerely for strengthening the party. Since party has given him the big responsibility of president, in the upcoming Loka Sabha elections and local body elections, there is a need of the entire party worker’s mass responsility, he said.
Senior BJP leader Bola Prabhakar Kamat, while speaking said that Maniraja Shetty was successful in building the party and in the upcoming Loka Sabha election, he shall bring back BJP to power with the efforts and co-operation of all the party workers and wished the new president all the best.
M.K.Vijaya Kumar,BJP leader and lawyer said in his speech that BJP came to power after experiencing bitterness for the last several years.BJP,which came to power after defeating congress in the state was giving good governance but due to power hungry, internal fightings,resulted in the fall of government. This is due to irresponsibility’s of the leaders but party workers and voters have never let down V Sunil Kumar.MLA .Now for the victory of Modi in the another battlefield, all the party workers should start making homework from today onwards, he said.
Presiding over the function V Sunil Kumar MLA said in his speech that though five months have been passed after congress came to power, it has not achieved anything in administration. He further alleged
that chief minister was telling that there is no chance for corrupt people in his cabinet but Siddaramaih is running the cabinet with corrupt people only., One of the anxious project,Bhaagyalaxmi’s rice is being sold in Kerala through black market.In this regard, government is maintaining silence, he said.
A massive protest will be staged on Sept 30, at Bangalore demanding the sacking of corruption tinted ministers and administration failure.
