Mangalore, Sept 28: By using free Hindi Unicode which is available in internet we can learn Hindi language by sitting at home said Ramesh Chandra Deputy Director, Akashavani.
He inaugurate he Hindi Divasa programme organized by Directorate of Area Publicity Unit at Government D. Ed college on Friday Sept.27.
If anyone knows Hindi then they can work in banking, educational institution and also work in departments of central government as a Hindi officer or translator he said.
He further said that compare to other states there are only few percentages of people knows Hindi in Karnataka, so that they miss the chance from government works.
The Hindi translator of Akashavani Malathi Bhat, assistant Director of Directorate of Area Publicity Unit K. P. Rajivan talked about importance of Hindi Language. Quiz competition was conducted for the students.
The principal of the college presided over the function. Shreekanth member of publicity unit compeered the programme. Sushmitha proposed vote of thanks.
