Mangalore, March 30: “Vijaya Sankalpa Yaatra” was organized by the party in Nehru Maidan on Friday, March 29th. On this occasion Nagaraja Shetty-JDS, who recently resigned from the party has returned to BJP-a parent body in presence of State president Prahlad Joshi.He has been welcomed by BJP by offering him huge garland on the stage. He timed his return at the Vijaya Sankalpa Yaatra organized in Nehru Maidan. He said in his speech that he left the party for some personal reasons and now he promised to work hard for the victory of the party in the ensuing assembly election.
State BJP President Prahlad Joshi presiding over the programme said Vidhana Sabha election is a sort of semi-final and with Narendra Modi leading BJP will form government at the centre. Which is why here we are gearing up for the battle, Sadananda Gowda,Ashok-Deputy Chief minister,Eshwarappa-Deputy Chief minister,Jagadeesh shettar-Chief Minister and Anant kumar-Central National Party Secretary- five Pandavas in the front followed by there are hundreds, thousands of soldiers behind.
He conceded having deep regret over the past blunders, mistakes committed by the party workers and promised the same will not be repeated in future. He further said that don’t worry about the people who left the party and quarreled. Now we are moving ahead with new vision and hence forget about the past and think about the future.
He advised the party workers to work hard to regain the tarnished image of the party and ensure that party’s good work is publicized at the door step of voters.
D.V.Sadananda Gowda-Ex-Chief minister said in his speech that instead of BJP’s five year –long pro-people governance, the talk is focused only about and corruption and denotification. Referring to Veerappa Moily and Janardhan Poojary both from Congress, he daringly said to have a debate on the developmental programmes started by BJP.He declares BJP’s developmental programmes and Congress Party’s misguiding campaign will be agenda of this ensuing assembly election.
Gowda further said BJP after came to power in spite of some internal problems had delivered a clean and transparent governance during five years of ruling. Which Congress could not do in 65 years of ruling.BJP has initiated many Pro-People projects during five years of our administration.
Deputy Chief Minister Ashok said in his speech that UPA government which embroiled with so many scams, corruption, internal fighting, 2G spectrum, Helicopter scam, Coal Scam and Vadhra episode etc is ruling the country by misguiding the people of the country without any principle and direction. If JDS is Father-son party, Congress is Ancestral party and then indeed BJP is workers party he lamented.UPA government is in coma and fall at any time which is anybody’s guess, he said.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said BJP government has delivered pro-peoples developmental administration as promised in the election manifesto baring few inevitable incidences.Kota Sriniva Poojary-Endowment minister said with the exits of undesired people, trouble creators, party will have a bright future.
