Kasargod, March 30: As a result of tragic accident between Auto and Bike occurred on Thursday evening at Mogral, Puttur on the National highway Road, two bike riders have lost their precious lives and four people have been injured.
Deceased have been identified as Kunnil Sadiq, a resident of K.K.Road, Mogral Puttur and Kunnil Sabina Manzila Sameer Asif.
Seriously injured Dania (12) daughter of Auto Driver Muhammad, a passenger, has been admitted in Mangalore hospital. Rest of the injured passengers have been recognized as Maria (60) wife of Abdul Kader,Ayeesha(40) wife of Abbas (son of Maria) and Auto driver Abdul Kader, a resident of Koddyammeya,Kumble.
This accident happened while Asif along with his friend Sadiq were returning home, an Auto heading towards Kumble rammed on to the Bike. Impact of the accident was such that two passengers were thrown out of the Auto on the Road. Although both Sadiq and Asif have been admitted in Kasargod and Mangalore hospital respectively they have not responded to the treatment and subsequently both of them breathed their last.
Sameer Asif Mogral Puttur was the captain and goal keeper of Kunnil Young Challengers football club. This accident happened while they were returning home after the finishing their game.
When the Bike hit Auto, Auto lost the control of the vehicle and fell on the side and as a result of which child was thrown out of the Auto but miraculously survived unhurt it said.
