Karnataka have wide opportunity to Higher Education: Abhaya Chandra Jain

Mangalore, Sep 25: Earlier we have to gone for abroad to gain higher education. But today in Karnataka only we got so many Universities said Youth, Sports and fisheries minister K. Abhaychandra Jain.

In his inaugural speech of “Octave – 2013”, jointly organized by South zone Cultural centre of Thanjavur, Kerala Folk Academy of Kannuru and Yenapoya University Mangalore at Yenapoya University Deralakatte he said.

He further said that these type of programme helps to build up good culture and behaviour in youth.

The chief guest of the programme Dr. M. Mohan Alva said our country is rich in its culture. The students should know about culture and entertainment. In the name of culture we should not spoil over culture. Students should gain knowledge and good behaviour from the education he added.

The vice chancellor of Yenapoya University Dr. Chandra Mohan presided over the function. Pro.Mahammed Ahammed, Kerala Folk Academy,Naleen Kumar Kateel,  Abdul Kunji, member of examining committee Pro. K.P. JAyarajan, president of organising committee Pro. P.C.M Kunji, secretary of Kerala folk academy Pradeep Kmar were present in the programme.
