Karkala; Sept 24: A general body meeting of Donderangadi milk producer’s sangha was held at Ramamandira’s cultural Sabha Bhavan.
Narayana Kini,director of the Sangha has preside over the function. In the meeting, bonus for the year 2011-2012 Rs 50,955 and for the year 2012-2013 Rs 64,720 and dividend of 15% has been distributed to the members of the sangha.
During the year 2012-2013, people who have given more milk to the sangha like Smt.Shreemati Bhat, Balakrishna Poojary and Smt Vasanti Karkera have been awarded with gifts.
Raviraj Hegde, President DK milk producer’s Vokkoota, Ramesh Rao, reitired principal, Dayananda Hegde, Smt Suchitra, development officer were present on the occasion.
Vijaya, secretary of the sangha has read the report and compered the programme.Sudhakara Shetty welcomed the guests, Subhashchandra Poojary proposed a vote of thanks.
