Karkala;Sept 21: Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held on September 21,Saturday at office premises, Sunil Kumar MLA said in his address that Gopal Bhandary, former MLA Karkala constituency has not brought even a single grant-in-aid for the development works of the roads under prime minister’s “Gram Sadak Project” but still he claims that he has brought enough grant-in-aids for the development work of the roads and thereby misguiding the people and creating a turmoil amongst the people, he alleges.
He further said that with regard to widening of Agumbe Ghat road, memorandum has been submitted to union transport minister by former MLA, which is welcome and acceptable. Developmental works should be carried out from everywhere. But here, it is not important from whom? Only when all the people sincerely work together, overall progress of the place is possible and guaranteed, he added
He further challenged that let former MLA make public within one week, the list of development works, he is going to do in the coming five years and rest I will do, he said. In case he fail to submit the list before first of October, he should not interfere in the development works of the city, he said.
There should be a competition in the development works of the place but let the congress rectify the attitude of boasting themselves that they have done, in fact it was not done by them
