Miscreant put Modi banner on fire at Gurpur

Mangalore, Sep 20: A banner showing Gujarat chief minister and BJP’s PM nominee Narendra Modi, was put on fire by unknown person near a bus stand in Gurpur.

Namo Brigade put the banner with pictures of Narendra Modi and Swami Vivekananda near the bus stand.  The banner was set on fire by unknown people on Thursday September 19 night.

A similar incident had also occurred at Mudipu. The police had arrested those who were responsible for the demolition of the banner.

A person wearing Modi T-shirt was also assaulted in Gurpur area.  Activists of Namo Brigade have complained to the Bajpe police station. The case is registered.
