Mangalore, Sep 19: Alva’s College won overall championship in the wrestling match, organized by Mangalore University and Rosario College of Management Studies at Rosario College.
This is the 5th time Alva’s College won the award continuously in men and women section of wrestling.
In women’s section Karkala Venkataramana College and in men’s Gokarnanatha College Mangalore won 2nd place. Alva’s group won 11 gold medals, 3 silvers and one bronze in tottaly.
D.M. Aslam, Dr. H. Nagalingappa distributed the prize. Convener of Rosario Education Trust Fr. J.B. Crastha presided over the function. Totally 24groups were participated. Vice president Fr. Raki Fernadis welcomed, Principal Fr. Alwin proposed vote of thanks. Physical instructor Jon Lobo compeered.
