Udupi; Sept 12: Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held at Pathrika Bhavan on Sept 12, Thursday, Dr Manjarichandra, director informed in her address that ‘Bharata Natya’ competition will be held for Udupi and Dakshina Kannada high school students on Sept 15, organized by Srishti Nrityakala Kuteera, Udupi and contestant those who want to participate can register their name, she said
Competition will be held on Sept 15th, Sunday under the patronage of Paryaya Sodhe Vadiraja Mutt Sree Krishna Mutt in Raghavendra Mutt’s Mantralaya Auditorium. Competition will commence at 6.30 pm at Rathabeedhi.Nrityapatu, Nritya Vidhwan Parshanath Upadhye from Bangalore will perform Bharata Natya at 7.00 pm
The time for Bharata Natya will be one minute, cinema songs will not be entertained, CDs can be used. No direct songs.
Shirur Laxmivarathirtha Swamiji will inaugurate the programme.Vishwavallabatheertha Swamiji will distribute the awards.
