Kundapur; Sept 09: Though ten days have been passed after the reported incident of rape case of minor girl in Thoodhalli, police have failed in nabbing the accused and alleged that he is being protected by some vested parties by giving vague reasons that he is hiding. Locals also alleged that some local political leaders are trying to damage the charm, importance of the incident by protecting the accused.
In Byndoor and Kundapur surrounding villages still after 8th standard, the girl students are opt to remain out of schools because of the parents, who discouraging them by painting wrong picture in the minds of students.
This is due to the parents of the students, who give wrong picture about girl student going alone in villages.In order to fill confidence, courage in students, police department has to take this incident seriously and accused in minor girl’s rape case must be apprehended immediately, demands Dr Keshava Koteshwara,president ,chief director of Spoorthidhama.
When incidents of rape cases happen in far places like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, people will stage a protest from here but incidents of such types happen in front of our own eyes, people are closing their eyes and watch the fun of the incident by sitting at home.
Therefore all the organizations, Sangha’s and youths must raise their voices, said Dr Keshav Koteshwara.
Besides, if the accused is not being apprehended and produced before the court, within two-three days a massive protest will be staged in places like Byndoor, Bhatkal, said in the press meet, held at udupi.
