Subramanya, September 4: A KSRTC bus conductor took a minor girl student to Bangalore, without her parents’ permission and allegedly sexually abused her.
The girl was studying in Subramanya P.U. College, used to go daily in Sullia- Subramanya government bus and where bus conductor and her friendship grown and turned to love. The conductor Nagesh lured the girl and convinced her to go with him to Bangalore. The girl travelled with him from Subramanya to Bangalore, where he allegedly raped her and on Sunday, he left her in the Subramanya bus and went back to his home town Hasan.
As the girl did not return home, her family members filed a complaint in Subramanya police station. The girl returned home on Sunday in the noon and revealed the incident to her family and moreover she also told about his cheating. Hence, parents took her to the a private hospital in Puttur for medical test.
As this is a serious issue the police department started to investigate and they learnt that he is working in KSRTC bus conductor from Dhramastala depot and his native is Hassan.
Judicial custody: Regarding the cheating and allegedly rape of minor student the accused was arrested by Subramanya ASI B Kushalappa Gowda and by constable Dayanand at Chowduhalli in Goruru on Tuesday after moving to Chowduhalli, near Gorroru of Hasana.
Due to admitting of the charges, he was produced in the principal session’s court in Mangalore and taken to judicial custody.
