Mangalore; Sept 01: Jayashreekrishna Parisra Premi Samiti submitted a memorandum to home minister KJ George, urging him to take immediate action to check endless robbery, road accidents and murders in undivided Dakshina Kannada district.
“In the last three years, when the region has seen rapid development in terms of industrial development and also residential developments, large number of theft cases taking place every year. Hundreds of accidents and several murders have also taken place in the region “he stated in the memorandum and requested that a meeting of central and state ministers from the region should be convened to discuss the issue.
“Convene a meeting of two central ministers and four state ministers, who hail from the region,MPS,MLAs,deputy commissioners, inspector general of police, police superintendents and gram panchayat heads to find solutions to the issue, he urged.
