Kasaragod, September 1: DYSP P. Mohan Chandra and his team arrested two persons, who were transporting 46kgs of Gaanja, here on August 31.
The accused are identified as Sunil david (34) and Idukki’s M.G. Murali (42) and they were transporting the Ganja from Idukki, Thodupuya to Kasaragod in a car. Based on the information police carried the investigation and when police asked with their treatment, the accused are agreed that they are transporting Ganja.
Police source said that the Ganja was filled in the special hole of the car and they are the middle mans of the Ganja business. It said that Ganja is transporting large quantity to the district from Andhra Pradesh and from several month crores of rupees worth Ganja seized in the district.
