Mangalore, August 31: ‘On the occasion of tenth anniversary of Shree Ganeshotsava prograame , there will be tene habba, sahasra ashtottara naarikela mahaganayaga and religious, cultural, sports programme will be held from September 4 to 11 at Bunts hostel Onkara area’, said Shree Siddivinayaka managing trustee maaladi Ajith Kumar Rai , Kodiyal Guttu.
Addressing the presspersons he said that form 9 years Ganeshostava is celebrating under the sponsorship of Bunts Mathru Sangha’s Mangalore taluk committee and taluk bunts association, Mangalore. Hence, this year committee decided to celebrate the Ganeshotsava grandly.
On September 9, after the inauguration, there will be flag hoisting and after distribution of plant of paddy, there will be ritual performance to statue. From September 9 to 11 various religious and cultural programmes will be held and on September 11, after the ending ceremony, by carrying the statue in the procession, it will be discharged in the Shree Mahamayi temple’s lake, He said.
Public Ganeshotsava committee president Navaneeth Shetty Kadri said that on the occasion facilitation programme is organised to those, who are contributed in the social, religious, educational and art field. He said.
The talent committee convener Asha Jyoti Rai said that on September 1, there will be Banta Kreedotasava at Shree Ramakrishna Vidyalaya and there will be different types of sports competitions to the Bunts community people. The winners will get the special cash prizes and trophy. The Bunts committee already organised dance, ideal couple, treasure hunt and kusalda banter competitions and it will be organising cultural programme also, she said.
Shree siddivinayaka trustees Manjunath Bhandary Shedye, Raviraj Shetty Guthu, Krishna Prasad Rai Bellipadi and public ganeshotsava committee convener Jagannath Shetty Bala were present.
