Mangalore, August 30: Urging to fulfil the different demands MESCOM contract workers of the 4 district staged a protest led by CITU in front of MESCOM managing director office on Thursday.
Though the government owned MESCOM institution workers had been continuously staged movement, the institution failed to give least facilities and MESCOM officials’ irresponsibility is the cause for this. If the demand is not fulfilled, severe movement will be intensified, warned CITU district general secretary Vasantha Achary.
Meanwhile, association honorary president B.M. Bhat alleged that MESCOM officials neglected the decisions, which was taken n front of the assistant labour officer.
Association president Shivakumar gave introductory speech on the occasion. State Electricity Workers Association’s MESCOM division secretary Mahesh, leaders Lokesh Hebbar, Samith Sullia, Karunakara Bantwala, Mohan Puttur, Megaraj Hosanagara, Venkatesh Kundapura, Manju Baindur, jayanth Chikamagalur, Pradeep Kadoor, Gopalakrishna Udupi and Suresh Koppa were present.
