Ullala, August 30: Nearly a 50 members group attacked a person by using the lethal weapons and injured him badly on Thurday at 11.30 pm.
The victim is identified as Vijay Prakash (32),member of HJV and he was taken to Deralakatte private hospital. When Vijay Prakash was coming back after attending the Mosarukudike, the group were stopped him and burnt his car along with that injured him through the weapons.
Details : The Kupala area’s Bajarangadala activists were damaged the banners and postures near Balakrishna Mandir. Meanwhile, a resident Praveen came out from his and told the activists as not to create the disturbance. But, they thrown the bottles to his house and damaged valuable assets of his house. In this incident both Praveen and his son were also injured badly.
When HJV activist Prakash was moving in that way, Bajaragadal members brutally attacked him by lethal weapons and set the fire to his car. After the attack Prakash was moving by seeking the help and when a woman named Kumuda tried to help him, these activists also attacked her. On the occasion Prakash managed to escape, but again they searched him and attacked by the soda bottles and fled from the spot.
A source says that in the Mosaru Kudike procession Bajarangadal activists slapped two children, who were in the tiger dress on HJV tableaux. Hence, it caused for the heat environment between two groups, but soon calmed down.
It says that during the procession attackers were drunken and Kunta Ganesh,Santhu, Sandeep, Prashant, Shashi, manish, sanketh, Duggu, Dhanraj, Ranga Ganesh, Lailu, jairaj and others took the revenge of fight.
ACP Jagadish visited the spot and Ullal police deployed the tight security around the area.
