Mangalore, August 30: After the day of Krishna Janmashtami, people celebrated Mosaru kudike around the district on Thursday. In Mangalore, Kadri, Attavara, Kottara, Ullala, Thalapadi and in other places Mosaru Kudike was celebrated grandly and thousands of devotees participated.
To see the glory of Mosaru Kudike people were rushed like ocean and in between procession was held of attractive tab lows. In god’s moving path, colours filled pots were tied to welcome gates. The youths were competing each other to break the pots and they were forming pyramid styles to break the pots and spread the colourful water.
At one side Nasik Band, Pipers and drums were giving rhythm to people’s happiness, but at another side stunt with fire succeeded to drag the attention of people and along with that crackers changed the whole environment as colourful. The thousands of people were the witnesses for the Star Night orchestra programme held at Kadri ground.
The Kadri Mosaru Kudike fest having many years of history and that is celebrated under the auspices of Kadri Shree Krishna Janma Mahotsava Committee. The statue of Shree Krishna was carried from Shree Gopala Krishna Matt, Kadri Kambala to Kadri temple through procession. Hence, there were different types of cultural programme and religious meet.
In the Mangalore region Mosaru Kudike was celebrated in the Attavara Katte Shree Arasu Mundathya ground. The moved procession from Kottara Shree Krishna Bajana Mandira, ended in Shediguri by passing through Urva Store and Ashoka Nagara.
The Mosaru Kudike fest was celebrated in various places such as Kavooru ground, Swami Kripa Shree Veeranjaneya Vyayama Shale etc. In the Kalladka also Mosaru Kudike was celebrated very attractively under the auspices of Shree Rama Bajana Mandira.
