Karkala; August 28: It has been reported on August 27, Tuesday that a man from Kuntottu in Belmannu village, who went to the top of the coconut tree to pluck the coconuts had a accidental fall due to lost in the balance while he was coming down from the tree and died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Raghunatha Moolya, son of Sheena Moolya, a resident of Jantra in Belmannu village.
According to Balakrishna, brother of the deceased, Raghunatha after plucking the coconuts was coming down and in the middle he lost his balance and fell down, resulting his death.
A case has been lodged in karkala rural police station.
