Mangalore, August 23: ‘The caste and category less society can build the united India’, said Forest and D.K in charge minister B. Ramanatha Rai.
In the presidential address he was speaking after inaugurating the Brahmashree Narayana Guru’s 159th birthday anniversary and college foundation day, he said that, Narayana Guru was a teacher to the society and his philosophy is still valuable to everyone and we must follow the ideas in our life, he said.
On the occasion Dr.Ummappa Poojary and Dr. Sujaya Suvarna were felicitated. The winners of the inter school and inter college competition were awarded.
MCC commissioner S. Ajith Kumar hedge, member Shashidar Hegde, Gokarnanatheshwara college principal Gangadhara B, Co0nvener Jayavikram, B. Devadas, Radhakrishna, Naveen Chandra and others were present.
