Mangalore, August 21: Under the sponsorship of Airtel institution, Dakshina Kannada District Foot Ball Association has organised’ Airtel Raising Stars Champion- 2013’, here at central ground on Tuesday and entrepreneur Naveen Shetty run the competition.
District Foot Ball Institution president D. M Aslam, Secretary Husain Bolar, Treasurer Anil Kumar P. V and member Umesh Ucchila were present.
The competition will be continuing till August 23 and 23 teams will be participating in the competition. The winner team will get the chance to participate in the state level competition which will be held at Bangalore and in the state level talented youths will be selected and they will get the training for national level.
After that they will get the training in the Manchester United Soccer School, England for one week, said State Foot Ball Administration Committee member Vijay Suvarna.
