Mangalore, August 17: A famous dramatist and comedy actor Charles Sequeira had been honoured with ‘Karavali Konkans Kala Award’ of 2013 for his contribution towards drama field on August 15 at Mangalore Don Bosco hall.
The chief Guest senior litterateur and member of Kendra Sahitya Academy Edwin .J D, Souza felicitated Charles Sequeira with Rs. 50 thousand cash.
After that guest said ‘he is like an oasis in desert land and he is capable remove the tension at any situation through his comedy, which is appreciable’.
Mr Charles said that such felicitation encourages the artistes, which makes them rich, he said.
Karavali Konkans organisation president Lesli Rego, secretary Claud D’ Souza and proprietor Rohan Montero were present among others.
