Mangalore, August 14: Besant Women’s College Folk Cultural association has organised Aatidonji shanivara Programme and performed an Aati kekinja, Yakshagana, Kangolu and Hulivesha to welcome the guests.
Karnataka Tulu sahitya Academy registrar Chandrahas rai inaugurated the programme by filling the paddy to storage pot and said about Tulu culture, celebration, importance tulu language and role of youth in the preservation of our culture.
In the presidential address dr Meenakshi mentined about the speciality of ashada Month, special celebration and using of medicinal plant.
Principal Prof. pushpalatha B. K, Jnaneshwari and Dr. Ganapathi were present.
