Mangalore, August 9: Every kind of measures have taken to develop the Wenlock government hospital, hence in the first stage, government thought to start the 250 beds multi specialty hospital, said Health minister U. T Khader.
He was speaking in the meet with pre- investigation team, which came from Bangalore, regarding to improve the Wenlock hospital, on Thursday.
In the present, there are 704 beds in the Wenlock hospital and government has taken the decision to increase the bed to 1000. By collapsing old part of the hospital, 250 beds multi specialty unit will be opened, he said.
Emergency facilities:
He suggested the team to develop the required emergency facilities such as Ventilator facility, operation unit, and psychology treatment ward and improving to hytech model lab structure. Meanwhile, hospital officials asked the relevant demand with minister.
NRHC deputy director dr Narayan, deputy finance Officer Dr. Nischith, KSHS advisor Dr Ganesh, Dr Malavika, Dr. Shakunthala were present.
