Mangalore, August 8: Opposing the irregularities in the Pacchanadi dumping yard locals staged protest by stopping the dumping lorry’s, but when in charge minister assured by visiting the spot, the protest was taken back.
The locals alleged that due to heavy dumping irregularity occurred and it causes for spreading the infectious diseases. Hence they started the protest, but they didn’t get the proper response, moreover they stopped the Lorries which came to dump the wastages. It resulted to traffic jam from the 30 to 40 standing Lorries. In the last, when in charge minister understood the seriousness of the protest, he visited the spot and gave the assurance. Hence the locals dropped the protest.
