Mangalore, August 7: Regarding the Basadi theft case, some of the information is gathered from the CCTV footage. But accused are not identified yet, because they were wearing the masks, hence special squads are formed and based on the clues, investigations were on the process in several areas, said Mangalore Commissioner Manish Karbhikar.
Addressing the presspersons he said that only one person theft the idols and he was migrating place to place. There are 8 cases on him, but fortunately he was captured at Aandhrapradesh. He theft in the Karavara and in Udupi town also. Among the theft idols, only five are gained back as solid and still seven idols not yet got. Hence regarding the case police team has gone to Chattisghad. The investigation is on process and so far no information we got, he said.
