Udipi; August 04: Pramodh Madwaraj, MLA from Udipi said in his address that Koraga community’s problems can be solved only when authorities visit the houses and prepare the list of the Koraga communities’ problems.In spite of receiving Rs 5 crore last year, problems of Koraga community still remained unresolved.
Money is being received but not being reached properly. We cannot tolerate the negligence of ITDP,he warned.
MLA has inaugurated the “Representatives response and district level various department’s informative meet” held on August 04, Sunday at Aadi Udipi Ambedkar Bhavan organized by Udipi zilla Koragara seva developmental Sangha.
He further said that authorities must pay visit to minimum of five houses of Koraga community in a day and prepare the list of their problems. Now since the act of BPL system has been liberalized, one can get BPL card, even if he is holding APL card and it is the rights of Koraga community people to obtain BPL card, he added.
