Kundapur;August 01: K Mohan Acharya,convener ’Bilva Vriksha Andholan’said in his address that starting from student life, if you cultivate the habit of creating a green environment around your vicinity by planting some useful, beneficial plants and fostering it, to show your concern towards green environment, it would be a great gift towards society, he said.
While speaking in’Bilva vriksha Andholan’ programme organized by Navunda government pre-degree higher college’s ‘Bhoomika eco club’s green India movement ® he emphasized the Ayurvedic medical value of Bilva vriksha.
Besides, he also said that it is in the best interest of good health, we have to save this Bilva vriksha, which has got high medical properties, he added. As the global temperature is start getting declining as the days are passing, which will help us to lead very peaceful life, he said.
In the “Bilva Vana” organized by ‘Bhoomika eco club’ of Navunda government pre-degree higher college,Honnappa Nayak,vice principal, has inaugurated the event by planting Bilva Vriksha and presided over as well. Staff and students also planted Bilva Vriksha on the occasion.
Vishwastha Santhosha Koni, Green India Movement (®, Venkataramana Holla, uppinakudru, Co-convener, Bilva Vriksha Andholan were present as chief guests.
