Mangalore, July 30: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation division managing officer said that KSRTC will increase the Volvo trips to 25 rounds from Mangalore to Manipal and back to Mangalore. Due to the technical problem from two days, some extent of problems can be seen and repairing works are under progress as well as buses will be back to duty soon, he said.
‘Due to increased diesel rate, buses are running with loss Rs.10 per kilometre, but for the welfare of the public more buses will be under the duty, hence application is submitted to RTO. Once RTO grants the licence, then institution will provide the service with more spirit’, he said.
