Mangaluru, December 22: For the upcoming MLC elections of the elected representatives in Dakshina Kannada district; opinions are taken from the ministers and leaders from the two districts and later it has been announced that Pratapchandra Shetty will be the candidate contesting from the party. Hence there is no need of confusions regarding this matter, said Minister B Ramanath Rai.
Addressing a press meet at the Congress office in the city on Tuesday, December 22nd, he said; already the congress is briskly campaigning for elections in support of Pratapchandra Shetty. The gram panchayat members by supporting Congress candidate have to work for the party, he said.
In the press meet, MLC Ivan D’Souza, MUDA Chairman Ibrahim Kodijal, Mitun Rai and others were present.
