Mangaluru, October 29: A youth was murdered on the late night of Wednesday, October 28th at Moodushedde junction near Vamanjoor.
The deceased youth is identified as Vijeet (29) from Shivanagara. He was a masion by profession.
The murder is believed to have taken place at around 1. 30 am.
Sources said, four police cases were pending against Vijeeth.
It is said that at around 6pm, on Wednesday Vijeet had been out of his home on some work but was later found dead in the middle of the road at mid night.
A group which was observing his movements had attacked on him with deadly weapons, it is said.
Vijeet who was badly injured in the attack has expired on spot, it is learnt.
A case is registered by Kavoor police.
City Police Commissioner and other higher police officials have visited the spot and investigated.
The dead body is placed in mortuary at Wenlock hospital.
