Kundapur, October 28: A man expired on spot and two other people were critically injured after a fish transporting tempo collided to a Innova vehicle near Beejadi bypass in Koteshwar of Kundapur on Tuesday evening, October 27th.
The deceased is identified as Balakrishna. Two others namely Arun and Manikanta were seriously injured and they are admitted to a private hospital here. All were employees of Mahindra Company in Bangalore.
Incident details:
On observing that the fish carrying truck was moving on the road divider in a curve on the by-pass road in Beejadi, the driver of the Innova vehicle stopped the car by the road side. But still the speeding truck collided to the car.
Some staffs of Mahindra Company in Bengaluru had visited Kundapur on some work. Three people of the team after completing their work had visited Anegudde Vinakaya temple and while returning, this accident took place.
Following the accident, traffic movement was effected for two hours.
Kundapur traffic police arrived at the spot and made way for traffic.
Kundapur Sub-divisional DySP M Manjunath Shetty, Circle Inspector Diwakar P M, SI’s Nassir Hussain, Jaya visited the spot.
