Udupi, October 23: Two youths drowned while they had been to swim at a place where the river meets the sea at Kodi Bengre in Kemmannu here on the evening of Thursday, October 22nd.
The deceased youths are identified as Pradeep Kotiyan (23) and Pramod (23).
Altogether four youths had gone together for swimming among whom two are out of danger. They were working at Toyota showroom in Udyavara, Udupi.
Pradeep Kotiyan was working as technician while Pramod was painter, it is said.
Preliminary reports said that the deceased were Pitrodi residents.
The police and the trained swimmers have undertaken search operation for the bodies of the youths. Body of Pradeep has been fished out while search has continued on Friday to trace body of Pramod, it is gathered.
