Key eyewitness in Prashanth Poojary murder case got calls from Pakistan: Alleges MP Nalin KumarKateel- massive protest on October 20th condemning the murder.

Moodbidri, October 17: One of the key eyewitness in the murder case of flower vendor and Bajrangdhal leader Prashanth Poojary that took place in broad daylight has committed suicide, the person has committed suicide after receiving calls from Pakistan, alleged MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Addressing a press meet at the BJP office here on Friday, October 16^th, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, the murder of Prashanth Poojary had taken place in front of tender coconut vendor Vaman Poojary. From the very next day after the murder, Vaman Poojary who was the key eyewitness in this case had been getting calls from Pakistan. Later on October 15^th evening, Vaman Poojary was found hanging in a shed in the premises of his daughters house in Kaddhabettu in Moodbidri, said the MP.

Since the very next day after the murder of Prashanth Poojary, Vaman Poojary had been getting calls from Pakistan and the callers spoke in Hindi language informed the family members of Vaman Pooajry, some strong conspiracy might be there behind it, complained MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Condemning the murder of Prashanth Poojary and demanding the immediate arrest of culprits, a massive protest would be held here on October 20^th with the support of the leaders of the state, informed MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

MP further said, although many attacks have been repeatedly taking place on the Hindus, the police department has failed to arrest the accused.  In just three months span, seven times attacks have taken place on Hindus. In one such an attack, a leader of Hindu association Prashanth Poojary has lost his life. But till now, no leader from congress party has visited the house of Prashanth Poojary and no compensation has been announced. In addition; till now, the police have not gathered any information about the murderers and no arrests have been made yet. Hence, on October 20^th the BJP will hold a massive protest near the statue of Dr Ambedkar in the city. In the protest Senior BJP leader and Former Chief Minister BS Yedurappa, Former Minister Eashwarappa, R Ashok, Suresh Kumar, MP Shoba Karandlaje, and various other leaders will participate, informed MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

In the press meet, Monappa Bhandary, Former Krishna J Palemar, BJP District President pratap Sinma Nayak and others were present.
