Mangaluru, October 3: Fight took place between two groups on Friday night of October 2nd when two men from a finance company came to seize a bike for non-payment of installment.
The incident took place near Cashew Development Corporation at Thokkottu Ullalbail.
Two staff members of a finance company who were on a Pulsar bike bearing number KA 19 EB 386 followed a bike rider travelling on an Enticer bike bearing registration KA 19 EJ 5657. Near Ullalbail, the staff of the finance company blocked the road by keeping their Pulsar bike on the road and asked the Enticer rider to pay the pending instalment. Argument erupted between the two groups. Meanwhile, one among the finance company staff pulled the key from Enticer bike and threw it into the compound of a house situated close by. The arguments then turned into fight.
After phone calls were made to friends, more people arrived the spot. A group of about 10 to 15 people came from Ullal direction and attacked the finance company staff. Then another team arrived in support of the staff of finance company. The fight grew stronger between the two groups after of more people gathered at the spot.
Ullal police on receiving information, rushed at the spot. On seeing the police arriving at the spot, all the people engaged in the escaped from the spot.
Later the police seized two bikes which were left at the spot.
