Mangaluru, September 30: Led by district Youth Congress president Mithun Rai, massive rally was organized on Tuesday, September 29th; by the Dakshina Kannada Youth Congress in protest against the immoral rowdyism widely taking place in the district.
District in-charge minister Ramanath Rai flagged off the march from near Gandhi statue situated in Lalbhagh here and gave a call to the youths to owe to root out the communalism.
Huge support was witnessed for the rally organized by the youth congress against the immoral rowdyism taking place across the district.
Due to the immoral rowdyism taking place in the district, there prevails a situation that the development of the district may get hampered. This rally is organized to create awareness among the youth against such activities of communists, said Mithun Rai.
MLA B A Moideen Bava, Mayor Jacintha Vijay Alfred, corporators, Formor Mayor Sashidhar Hegde, youth congress activists, NSUI and congress activists took part in this massive rally.
