Ullal, September 22: Assault has been reported to have taken place on two women who have been admitted to a hospital.
It is alleged in the complaint that Michael had assaulted Nabeesa (62) and Asma(38).
It is said, while Michael was plucking coconuts, the cable wire got cut and fell on the ground. When Nabeesa asked him to bind it, Michael had abused Nabeesa. While Nabeesa’s daughter interfered and opposed it, Michael in a fit of rage had pelted coconut at Asma and injured her. In addition, he also assaulted Nabeesa with a stone, it is said.
Michael was reportedly involved in hooch racket and was always harassing family members of Nabeesa.
Michael is basically from Tamilnadu and resides in Narlapadil since 18 years.
A case stands filed at Ullal police station.
